Gretchen Hoffman brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and media relations. Prior to joining A.wordsmith, Gretchen was an internal marketing manager for GreenRoad, an international technology company, where she oversaw North American PR activity as well as corporate messaging, positioning and C-level communications. Her earlier experience includes time in the consumer products division of Symantec; working as a journalist for the Glendale News-Press and Pasadena Star-News; and supporting communication efforts for multiple internet start-ups including CitySearch.com. Gretchen holds an MBA with an emphasis in marketing from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, a master’s degree in library and information science from UCLA and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
